CSSC and CISC Elections Held

The Office of the Student Activity held the CSSC (College Student Supreme Council) and CISC (College Institute Student Council) ELECTION last February 19, 2010. This is the first time that Elections were held simultaneously when the Guidelines for Student Council Elections were revised last School year 2008-2009. The campaign period started last February 9-16, 2010. The Meeting de Avance was held last February 18, 2010 at the Magnificat Center.

The competing parties who joined this year's elections were from A.L.I.A.S. (Association of Leaders in Achieving Success), T.E.A.M.( Together Everyone Achieve More) and BATANG A.L.I.A.S.(Bagong Tatak ng Association of Leaders in Achieving Success.

CSSC spearheaded CANDIDATES' FORUM


College Student Supreme Council (CSSC) spearheaded "CANDIDATES' FORUM" last February 22, 2010 from 9:00am to 11:00am at the Magnificat Center of the College. This activity aimed to educate our young voters and create awareness on their social responsibility towards the forthcoming election this May 2010.

This is the first time that candidates for Governors and Vice Governors of the Province are gathered for a forum. Hon. Gov. Aurelio "Oyie" Umali, running mate GP Padiernos (Unang Sigaw Partido sa Pagbabago) and Vice Gov. Edward Thomas Joson and Senior Board Member Rommel Padilla (BALANE- Bagong Lakas ng Nueva Ecija Party) were the guests during the said forum. Questions with regards to social concerns and issues of the Province were raised to the candidates and at the same time the students and some teachers were given the opportunity to ask questions to the candidates. Atty. Angela Esquivel, Senior partner of the Rodriguez and Partners Law office and Ms. Joceli Julia Embuscado- English Coordinator of the High School Department were the moderators.


Our President of CIC, Rev. Fr. Richmond V. Nilo invited several schools in Cabanatuan City to participate in the said event. Students who participated were from PMTC, Gloria Lacson College, Araullo University, Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology, Good Samaritan College and ELJ Memorial School (Eduardo L. Joson). Other politicians and members of the different sectors of Cabanatuan City also graced the occasion.

The Office provides a program of activities for the total formation of students. Its programs enhance leadership skills of students to become responsible and effective Christian leaders; it fosters harmonious relationships among and between students, faculty and administration.

* Assistance for delegates/ contestants to local, regional, national conventions/conferences
* Processing of all discipline cases
* Issuancce of clearances/activity slips
* Implementation of uniform and ID policies
